| Dec 10, 2024 | Excited to share that our paper “Towards Global Localization using Multi-Modal Object-Instance Re-Identification” has been accepted at ACM/Advances in Robotics 2025 (AIR25) for an oral presentation! This work presents a novel approach to robot localization using multi-modal object instance re-identification. We demonstrate how recognizing and tracking object instances across different modalities can enable robust global localization in challenging environments. Check out our project page for more details, videos, and the paper! |
| Sep 01, 2024 | Excited to announce that I’ve started my PhD in Computer Science at the University of Virginia! I’ll be working at the Collaborative Robotics and Autonomous Learning (CRΔL) lab under the guidance of Prof. Rohan Chandra. My research will focus on closing the sim-to-real gap using 3D Gaussian-based digital twins, with emphasis on intelligent dynamic agents, physics-based object interactions, and scalable data generation for robotics applications. Looking forward to this new chapter and exciting research ahead! |
